Chenoa in the Show Ring
Candia's Miss Devine Ya-Ya
Ya-Ya at the August 13, 2005 show. Shown by handler, Connie Malo. This photo is an excellent example of the flying trot which exemplifies the gorgeous movement in the German Shepherd Dog. You can clearly see the wonderful extension. Just beautiful!
Candia's Miss Devine Ya-Ya
Date of birth: April 13, 2003
Ya-Ya, shown here being handled by Connie Malo, went winners bitch for a 5-point major at the February 2005 shows. Ya-Ya will be taking the next year off to have her first litter.
Artisan's Destiny
Date of birth: October 24, 1994
"Dana" was a bitch that Chenoa imported from Canada in November of 1995. We showed her several times but she did not fit in with our breeding program. She was placed in a companion home with Ron Fullerton in 1996.
Chenoa's Dreams of Barbara
Date of Birth: December 4, 1993
"Soloman" or "Sollie" was a puppy out of our beautiful Purr and by CH Kinni Oz v. Kubistraum. Sollie was named after my dear friend, Barbara, who passed away the day after this litter was whelped. Sollie was shown very successfully as a puppy. However, due to my divorce and not being
able to care for so many dogs, in 1997 Sollie was neutered and placed in a companion home. He is still alive, but slowing down a little.
Covy's Dakota of Tucker Hill, CD
Date of Birth: July 13, 1989
Dakota was the first German Shepherd Dog that I bought. She was incredibly smart and she finished her obedience title quickly. She was the perfect "starter" dog as she easily forgave my mistakes while training her. We bred Dakota three times and she had wonderful puppies which were all placed in great companion homes. Unfortunately, since our goal was to develop our own line and keep a puppy with the goal of continuing to show and Dakota was unable to produce a puppy better than herself, the very difficult decision was made to spay her and place her in a companion
home. She lived a long and healthy life and she is missed greatly.
Kubistraum's Damon
Date of Birth: September 3, 1989
Damon came to us through a breeder in Wisconsin at 3 1/2 years of age. He quickly charmed us with his gentle nature and sense of humor. Since he had been a "kennel" dog, he had to be taught how to play and to play with toys. As long as we knew him he always "pounced" on his toys like a puppy. He was very endearing. Unfortunately, he had elbow dysplasia and so we had to neuter him and he became a much loved companion. In 1994 he was placed with a wonderful family where he was spoiled for the rest of this life. Damon passed away in October of 1999. Please see our memorial page for our tribute to Damon.
Chenoa's Great Adventure
Date of Birth: December 11, 1994
Rhini is a bitch that we bred out of our beloved Purr by CH Kinni-V Oz v.
Kubistraum. She was sold as a puppy to a show home. Rhini's son, Kolby, is
currently being shown and has almost finished his conformation championship.
I handled Rhini at shows and so did my step-son, Kevin. Rhini is an intelligent
bitch, and has made her owners very happy. She has crossed over the Rainbow
Bridge, please view our In Memoriam page for her
tribute.
Chenoa's Kindred Spirit
Date of Birth: April 8, 1999
Kolby is currently on the show circuit and is owned and loved by his family. His dam is Chenoa's Great Adventure (shown above) and his sire is CH Jagan's Valentino.
Baleztenas Ace of Adobe Ck
Date of Birth: July 18, 1999
Ace is our big baby in the family. He was purchased at approximately 6 months
of age from a show breeder on the western slope. Ace did well in the show ring,
but did not really like it. The decision was made to retire him. We had intended
to use him at stud, but he has inhalant allergies and we, in all good conscience,
could not take the chance that he would pass that trait on to his offspring.
Therefore, we made the difficult decision to neuter him. In late 2004, Ace
was placed with a former puppy buyer, Habib Nasrullah and his family. Please
follow this link to see what Ace and his new family are up to.
